365 Knitting Stitches a Year

When I retired I decided to work my way through my mother's 365 Knitting Stitches a Year Perpetual Calendar. I haven’t been able to keep up with each day's stitch, but so far I’ve completed 108 squares. Once I finish all 365, I’d like to turn them into blankets or afghans—with the help of fellow knitters, of course—and then donate or raffle them for a worthy cause. I have no idea how this will turn out, but it’s been a fun project. Plus, a great way to thin out my yarn stash!


I stayed on schedule for about 10 days, then came across a complicated stitch I wasn't familiar with and that slowed me down. Eventually I finished 238 squares and used 91 of them to make 2 blankets-one to raffle, another for a new baby cousin.
